Research Document - Bands on the Pier 1962-2005

Stallion playing on the Pier, New Year's Eve, 1974. A very popular local rock band, Stallion played the Pier fifteen times between December 1973 and January 1977.

From 1962 onwards Hastings Pier played host to a breath-taking number of top groups/artists as well as being an important stepping stone for many local bands.

This is a work in progress list of artists that have appeared (or not turned up!) on The Pier. Please note that it was compiled from ads/posters/tickets etc. and may contain errors and omissions. All information regarding omissions/errors would be gratefully received. Figures in brackets refer to advance ticket price and promoter on right.
